Service of Lessons and Carols

Christmas came to town with a truly blessed Service of Lessons and Carols in St Brigid’s.

Thank you so much to all who decorated, provided refreshments, prepared the church, readers, our soloists, trio, instrumentalists and our choir, organist and everyone who joined us to worship together.

Our first ever Christmas Messy Church and certainly won’t be the last. Great to see so many parents and adults having fun and marking the real meaning of Christmas. Thanks to our Sunday Club leaders for the great crafts and providing the party food! Click on the arrows or the photo to scroll through the photo gallery

Wednesday Club Christmas Dinner

Wonderful get together for our Wednesday Club Christmas lunch in the Anglers Rest. Delicious food and great company! The charades added to the fun. Thank you to the committee for organising it all.

Remembrance Sunday

On Sunday 13th November 2022, Remembrance Sunday, was a very special day in our parishes.

In the morning we welcomed the Archbishop for our Service of Remembrance in both Clonsilla and Castleknock.

In the afternoon, St. Brigid’s was crammed full with many standing outside as we welcomed the local community for the Ecumenical Graveyard Service with Blessing of the Graves. This was the first time we were able to host this service since 2019 and it was a real blessing to be joined by our friends from the Roman Catholic churches and local community.
