Mothers' Union

Our October meeting was extremely well attended even though many of our members were involved in the preparations for the installation of our new rector, Rev. Paul Houston. We had a wonderful insight into what Jennifer Hollingsworth experienced whilst teaching in Uganda for eight weeks during her Summer holidays. This was portrayed very kindly by her Mum - Avril, as Jennifer was unable to be with us on the night due to studies. However the preparation she did with her Mum showed her talents as a forthcoming teacher!!!. Thank you team Hollingsworth..

Thank you to all who brought warm clothing for the Simon Community and unwanted gifts for Connolly Memorial Hospital..... keep them coming.

We will miss you Rose when you move to Tullow and we all hope you will be very happy there.

We are still collecting old mobile phones and used printer cartridges for the Jack and Jill Foundation and also if you have any old prescription glasses that are no good to you please give them to any member of Mothers’ Union and we can forward them on to where they can be used.....

Our next meeting Wednesday November 11, at 8pm is in Santry Parish Church Hall when Alice Leahy from Trust will be speaking to us

December meeting Monday December 7 at 8pm
We are having an Image Consultant in to speak to us and to give us advice on what colours we should wear  and what type of clothing we suit etc.

All our welcome to come to M.U. anytime for any meeting and bring a friend too

Hilary Nason
