Castleknock Parish Centre

The Castleknock Parish Centre was officially opened on Advent Sunday, 1st December, 1996. It was dedicated by the Archbishop of Dublin, Most Rev. Walton Empey. The official opening was performed by the then President of Ireland, Mary Robinson.

In her speech, Mrs. Robinson noted that the Centre would in the future serve the wider community and that support for the building would come not only from the parish but also from the wider community. The President unveiled a plaque commemorating the opening.

The Parish Centre contains a main hall, a minor hall (Castleknock Room), two rooms suitable for meetings (Clonsilla and Mulhuddart Rooms), the Parish Office, a counselling room, a quiet room (Maharry Room), a fully equipped kitchen, a lounge and an entrance foyer.

The Centre is available as a resource to the community and throughout the year it is used regularly for events, fun and fellowship.

Please Note that all bookings for use of the Parish Centre should be coordinated through the Parish Office at
